Roy keane argument on irish tv - Classic

The Premiership - General Discussion

Postby Big Niall » Fri Nov 25, 2005 10:24 am

This is why Irish Tv is the best for football. The link below is a big fight between Eamonn Dunphy (wrote Keane's autobiography) and Liam Brady among others. "NIall Quinn is a creep" is my favourite quote.

Check it out, it is excellent. only gets good at about the 2.30 mark. I never attached a link before so hopefully just typing in the link I received in an e-mail will work. check it out.

that Eammon Dunphy fella needs to take his rose-tinted specs off over Keano. The rubbish he was spouting was ridiculous. Keano a gentleman? What the :censored: is he smoking?  :D

RTE have the best sports commentary in the world.

Its rugby coverage is excellent, but its football coverage is absolutely marvelous.

They never have the cheerleader commentators you see on Sky or BBC. They always have grumpy old gits who love a barnie.

The current line up of Johnny Giles, Eamon Dunphy and Liam Brady is absolutely top notch.

Not only are the rows good, but the analysis of games is on another level to Sky, ITV (Andy and Ally.............jeeez) and BBC.

The question should be "What was he drinking and snorting?"

Dunphy is well known in Dublin for being fond of Charlie and white wine.

He has appeared on the show during the 2002 World Cup completely sloshed.  :D

No, LFC, you must have mis-read it.
What he actually said was "That Roy Keane - he's the biggest pile of turkey-sh*t ever to step on a football field. About as gentle as a hatchet man, and with the mental capacity and charm of a dung-beetle's nutty ar*e droppings."
He went on to say:

"I wouldn't trust that psychotic w*nker with a dog turd and some windowlean."
