JBG I'm not suggesting we make him 1st choice striker but he could make a valuable squad member, although appreciate your comment about Pongolle. You can belittle his efforts in the 1st div and internationals but to use an old cliche you can only score aginst who's put in front of you and he's been doing just that on a regular basis. I think given the chance he could come good in the prem. Never at the level of Owen, Fowler, Rush etc etc but certainly more use than big fat Emily.

Sorry Woollyback if I sounded aggressive about Earnshaw......I'm just sick and tired of f##king Houllier and Liverpool this season and after the cr#p that I had to watch on Monday I'm about one defeat away from marching down to Melwood and thrashing the place.

What is the point in buying anyone when the machine you are going to put him into is off the rails ?
There really are SERIOUS problems with our club's structure which must be fixed before any big money is spent again. I would rather see us mid-table with a gang of homegrown tryers than go through the pathetic farce over fourth place with a load of overpaid chancers.
The only signings which are important are those of Morgan and O'Neil , if we are lucky !!!

Earnshaw is untried and untested in the Premiership, he might cut it but he might not. I would not gamble, even if he did turn out to be useful I sincerely doubt he will be the kind of quality we should be looking at. Plenty of 1st Division players come into the Premiership and few actually make it - Zamora and Goater are two examples of players who never really did the business
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

I still think he may be worth a gamble (if the price was right) although I'll reserve my final judgement until we see how things pan out re: Cisse, Heskey, Owen's new contract etc. Owen & Baros are our best current strikers by a country mile but I don't think they're ideally suited to play alongside eachother, although they've never had a lot of practice so they could gel better over the long term.

owen and baros have never really had a run in the side together. baros came back from injury and looked like our most dangerous player for several games but then got dropped for heskey. it beggars belief.

I have to agree that it doesn't matter who we sign. (unless its a manager)

We need to address why 9 or 10 of the starting 11 have no motivation.

Van Der Vaart best position is central mid along side gerrard with them 2 in middle and O Neill in charge we could beat any1.Earnshaw is alot like a poor mans Owen and if houllier goes I think Owen will stay.We cannot give houllier anymore cash 2 waste on chumps and only reason he loves heskey so much is so defence can play the get out long ball up2 him all the time.Moores has had his time like houllier and both should be thanked and shown the door asap.Only then can we start lookin 2 the future with optimism.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.

the answer lies in the fact that a lot of the foreign players couldn't give a flying f#ck about the badge and what it means.
