Houlliers expenditure? - What do you really think?

if i remember correctly the season before Houllier came we finished third with owen as the leagues top scorer, it took houllier two more seasons to get us in that position again. so the squad he inherited wasnt that bad apart from the defence.

He goes to Villa , O'Leary puts a fire up Heskeys' a*se and he starts to play again like he did when he first came to us.
I still believe Hesky has it in him (somewhere  :p  ) we just need a manager to pull it out of him.

I mentioned it on another thread somewhere but it seems every player we sell to an English side comes back to haunt us and you're right, Heskey would do just that. It's like they all have a point to prove. Flog 'em all abroad!!  :O  :O  :O

And don't forget the wages we've paid out during Houlliers idiotic shopping spree. The paychecks could have bought a whole team!!!
