So many people are so upset about the lack of last minutes signings. What does not getting Owen and the others really translate to?

The choices aren't very balanced...We will finish in the top 4 and our points tally will be an improvement on last year and we will give a good account of ourselves in all cup competitions and perhaps we may even win one.Owen and his Host team will make no impression on the leading 4 teams and will not win a cup and will ultimately earn Souness the sack and give Owen the chance to remorph and find a new host for his parasitic nature....Everton looks a sound bet for 2006/2007

A quality RM and a CB, would have almost guranteed us 4th spot in my opnion, but even with them and Owen we would have been a bit short of breaking into the top 3.

I think we now have a battle on our hands to get 4th spot.

I think you might fight it out with :censored:

- nil for 3rd place, with such a young thin squad (no dis-respect meant), will you fight for second or third or will you put all your resources into Europe, i think with 4 or 5 teams fighting at the top each year in the premiership, it will be a while until somebody wins the premiership and the european cup in the same season.
