did anyone think that joe cole played particularly poor last night, and that his choice of late passes were getting very frustrating for us watching??

mind you, he werent as bad as david james. he said after the match that he shouldve warmed up more rigourously, .................yeah right david

Breaking News! Parry is in talks with Arsenal over a move for Sol Campbell! Apparently a deal for the quality Centre Back can be done for around £5m! If Parry pulls that one off it would be a very good bit of business! Watch this space  :;):
Sol Cambell has asked Wenger for a transfer recording to reports, he's 31 still quality though and will be out of favour now with Arsenals already solid back four.

French defender Philippe Christanval still reckons he may join Arsenal, and has also hinted that Sol Campbell could be leaving London's top club. Wenger has all but admitted that he won't sign Christanval on a permanent deal, and the 27 year old defender has said: "I am still waiting for an answer, I know that Arsene has confirmed on the club's website that it would not happen but he has not yet phoned me to tell me..."
Then Christanval dropped this bombshell,  "Everything went well. Arsene said he was ready to take me as long as he releases one of his four central defenders..." This comment has led a glut of websites/newspaper reporters to come to the conclusion, that Sol Campbell could be on his way out of Highbury...

I'm not too keen on Sol Campbell really. He was a fantastic player two years ago but now he's just an injury prone, fussy old man. I still think that we should be looking for a real, long-term replacement to Hyypia, not Pellegrino part II. And isn't taking players that Wenger doesn't want a bit of a step backwards, I seem to remember a certain G.H. who bought every frenchman in France that Arsenal didn't want and we found out why. We could do a lot worse than Sol, but we could do a hell of a lot better as well.

hmm not too keen on the campbell idea. too old, too expensive and too injury prone and not the player he was.

if cisse is sold as well then im going to go torch rafas house. crouch and morientes up front? no thanks. if owen returns which looks very likely then cisse and owen up front will be unstoppable and then morientes and crouch there to take over would prove to be a VERY strong attack

The latest I've heard is that if you went out and bought a Liverpool top and got 'Owen 11' printed on the back, you wouldn't be wasting your hard earned.  :;):
