paris st germain, arsenal, real madrid, paris st germain, liverpool, manchester city, fernabahce, that tells me he should never come to liverpool.25 years old and he,s already played for that many clubs,he disloyal ,sulky and his brothers are really shady.if he came to liverpool how long before his brothers turn his head for another club, his brothers have messed him about and are always looking for him to move on for another signing on fee.

Owen's hit 28 in a season.

He had two months of injuries in that season also.

Thats where i get the 25-30 goals a season from.

I would be more then happy if we got Owen on loan.

You simply won't stop? Give it a rest. You turn everything into a baros vs owen thing or an owen thing. What is your problem? We are LFC not Owen FC.

I Would be more than happy if we signed Anelka like woof said if Rafa played Cisse and Anelka upfront that would scare the sh!t out of defences.

I still rate Anelka. I always felt he enjoyed being a liverpool player than any other. He is always a ready EPL player and I see what he brings to the squad is quality. I will be extremely happy for him to come over and end the search for the next forward.

Its true though, as the only striker weve had in recent years thats been able to bang in 25 goals a season is OWEN. Although, its too early to be judging Cisse and Mori. We all know there quality strikers so do we really need another top class striker. It ,may just casue problems like Baros has done even though im a big fan of Milan.

i`d have anelka back, when he played for us he was our best forward by far and the buzz around the ground when he ran at players was great. unlike owen he didnt want to leave liverpool but houllier had already decided to go for diouff (to be fair to houllier when i saw el hadj in the world cup i thought we`d signed a star myself). he left man city because he was trying to engineer a move back to us (he loved it here and called lfc his spiritual home) but when we didnt come in with a bid it left him in no mans land so he basically had to take a move he didnt want.he said as much himself.
when owen and anelka played together owen looked half the pure footballer nicholas was but he managed to bang a few in mainly because anelka was also great at picking the ball up wide taking on the fullbacks and crossing excellent balls. although a front man himself he wasnt a selfish player at all.

I also thought Anelka was magnificent for us. He has a lot of skills and he has strenght and pace. If Benitez sells Baros, then maybe we should move for Anelka. I think Anelka is better than Baros. I feel sorry for him if he ends up playing football under Souness.
