reports on the box suggest that Gerrard has inidcated he will be sitting down to negotiate a new contract after the CL final...

.. I know there is a SG thread.. but this is kinda positive ay.. so .. lets see what happens.. but no-doubt his heart is with the reds..

how can he possibly want to leave in the summer after all this. he's already said that leading out the players at the final will be the greatest moment of his life. stevie, you don't need to wait 3 or 4 years for the club to turn around - its happening now mate. be a part of it ya nonce!

Idont think there is anything new here,its what he said months ago he would review things at the end of the season.Although I agree with Andy things are on the up,and with Rafa going into the transfer market he would be a fool to leave now.

gerrard said in interviews after the CL final that he'll be sitting down very shortly to talk with Parry. Jamie Carragher was also being interviewed with him and he said that stevie'll definately be staying and that he's now his manager!!! lol

Nothing surprising,Gerrard had wanted the new contract after all.Why did he reject Chelsea in the first place besides that reason?YESS,we'll win the league.
