but the 2001 was a better come-back. Arsenal totally out-classed us....and we still won.... That has to be the greatest FA Cup of all time (for me)

Lad what about the Manure vs Arsenal Manu battered them off the pitch and still got beat.But ours was better

About the beautiful game!

At the start of the season, no one , NOT ONE PERSON in these forums would have put 100 pound of their own money on Liverpool winning that trophy!

A lot does come down to luck i suppose, you always need a bit of luck! (ie; for Liverpool on one occasion when Del piero's header for Juventus was a clear onside goal, but wasn't given!) When Juve hit post in Turin, second leg, when Dudek saved 2 times from Schevchenko, you always need luck.

If we are a class european side, we'll win it again next year!

my Avatar should tell you that I have seen the beautiful game played.. beautifully..

.. I was perhaps one of a few who said we could win it.. but as with all things.. hindsights is a great thing.. some of us could say "told u so" .. and I did to a few

but seriously Liverpools achievement can not be underestimated.. UEFA's own sight described the game as a spectacle harkening bak to the good old days, when there was skill, excitement, goals.. and most of all passion..

.. and that's what we all want more of.. and will Liverpool win the league.. I say yes .. what about you .. ? there you go the eternal optimist ..
