Zara, of the league championships, and European cups, when did we last win one?

League.......15 years,

European Cup...21 years.

Gets boring after a while.

Stop living in the past.

The post should really be about, when are Liverpool going to win one of those cups next? ?????

thats far more interesting reading.

Such a boring post.

I cannot disagree more. It is right and proper to reflect upon the clubs achievements, as they set the benchmark for the current side.
And remember if the club had won F  U  C  K  all in the past we would not be expecting so much from the lads now would we?.

And i Notice your little count gets boring when it gets to the Uefa, FA and League cups - all won in the last five years.

We have got to start to seriously challence for the EPL title soon.

but the 2001 was a better come-back. Arsenal totally out-classed us....and we still won.... That has to be the greatest FA Cup of all time (for me)

Yes but that comment shows you know nothing about Liverpools success so u should keep it to yourself!

Uefa, Fa and league cups?

They mean nothing and are not a measure of success.

stick to what u know best...which is NOTHING! about success.

Listen fruity boy,

we don't even look like winning the toss of a coin right now, and it aint looking good for 4th spot.

If we don't get there, you gonna be happy?

You should pray we do get there, cause if we finish 5th or less, stevie g is definately gone.

I'll bet on it.

I'm sick of Liverpools mediocre sh*te.

.. why don't u get ure crystal ball out and tell us all when the additions to this treasure trove will next happen...  ???

.. If u are bored by the vey reason our club is so grt and why today our hunger to be successful is based on such success.. then don't read or post in this thread...

.. I and 1000s are proud of these successes.. and if the UEFA and other cups are not also a measure of success.. then exactly why do you support Liverpool Football Club.. or indeed  football..  ???

listen, don't have a go at me, i support the club too!

I bet you weren't even born when LFc won the league or European cup last!

so if you know so much, tell us who scored all the goals in all the games!

I'm just saying...if thats what LFC are about, when are we gonna win it next, judging by recent form/ events, and the progress of rivals etc,

i'm telling you...theres no guarantee we are gonna win these trophies for the next 15/ 20 years!
Im not saying it will happen, but it could do!

You see, i'm realistic more than optimistic. I don't just hope for the best! If i was David Moores, I'd sell 75 million worth of shares to Mr mORGAN, if that meant we could sign the worlds greatest players, and not think about my own stake in the club. which is basically what he is afraid of losing. othewise the deal would have been done.

.. I have the newspaper cuttings from the "Barney Rubble final"  ..

.. whether we win or we don't .. our history is still unrivalled despite not winning the League for 15 yrs.. a proof of how difficult it is to sustain such a period of success...

.. as I suggested.. don't read what u find boring... Roberts :p

fruity boy ? Seriously ...... how old are you ? 12, 13.....
Come back here when you can afford to buy your own PC... junior.

You are sick of LFC ? Well i am sick of you.............

I will still support LFC even if we don't get 4th place.

Unlike the majority of the members here, I don't think it is "hell freezes over" if we don't get it, because next season I know we will be much much better..........

Honour and admire our past achievement but I think we need to add more throphys to our proud history.

Maybe a League Cup win is on the card huh? Wayne Bridge stretched off, Cudicini red carded, Gallas and a few other injured. A beating by Barca will seriously hurt their confidence don't you think?

No Iceman, you don't sound like you support the club.

I supported and watch each and every one of our European Cup truimphs, and still proud of the way we played the game in the past and our superlative acievements. If you choose to belittle or not be proud of our history, you have ignored the club's greatest era of success.

You call yourself a realist? Look in the mirror and you will see a passimist. How can you called himself a supporter if you don't aspire for us to win the league in 15 years?

Also it's easy for you to sit in your little room and ask for the chairman to sell his stake. You can't possible fathom the complexity of such a deal, so please don't post such smartassed comments.

Your mate...Maverick
