So because it is a PUBLIC forum it is OK to say things like that, that is complete and utter nonsense.

people on these forums, but i was obviously sadly mistaken.

All i wanted to do was make it known that somebody HAD taken offence to the statement, as people were saying that nobody here would take offence....WRONG....I did, i didnt want to make a BIG DEAL about it, and wanted to make one post about it and leave it at that. But when i come back and see further comments along the lines of - oh its ok, or why are u saying sorry....it just baffles me.

So let me get this straight, it will be ok for me to say that Steven Gerrard is a white bast.ad (not that i would do so or beleive so, especially as my mother is white anyway, being mixed race i see both sides of the coin, which i am sure is something u can only imagine!!), is that OK yea, just becaause it is 'FREE SPEECH', ur talking out of your ar.se mate.
It amazes me that people are posting the tripe they do just like you STU....I bet you would know what to/or not to say when around certain people however. SICKENING

Sorry for all those other people that do not hold or advocate such views, and i would also like to take this time to tell LEE J - MATE I APPRECIATE YOU BEING A MAN AND APOLIGISING (twice actually!!).

Another point is -STU U P.rick those comments could easily lead to someone going to court!!!

And also to RED37 - 'whiskynose' etc; is not the same, because 'rag heads' etc; is directed to not only persons from a particular country, but an ENTIRE region. It is just not on, and WHO ARE YOU TO SAY - 'cant offend any bugger ffs!!!', oh so you know where and what will offend everybody that frequents the forums, and i just noticed (which made me crack up TBH) that you say 'Paki' and 'Darkie' are colourful terms, PLEASE......they are RASCIST terms end of....... you also say that your gran/grandad used to use these type of terms to describe stuff. So if your Gran or Grandad, sold Heroin for a living it would be OK to do so too then!!!!!!!

As i said in my initial post, i was totally thrown by those comments and was totally unexpected from these forums, because i have never EVER seen anything like that here before, but then again i have only been around for 5/6 weeks. Maybe these are the STANDARD views held by many people...I DONT KNOW ANYMORE....well i know JONNYMAC doesn't hold such small minded views.

All i want to do is post and have reasoned arguments and debates about LIVERPOOL FC, not one sentence debates like most on here, but serious debates where people have actually taken te time to post and back-up their statements as opposed to - 'Dont buy him, he is S.hit'.........i can get that anywhere, Its just that i thought here was different.
In less than 7 hours (today) my view has begun to change.

PS - JUST re-read what RED37 posted, and where it says 'That is Different', i may have misread what u put, and it now seems as though you could be saying that those words ARE rascist etc; IF YOU COULD CLEAR THAT UP FOR ME PLEASE, if that is the case, i take back PART of what i said in regard to your comments...If so i apoligize ahead of time (but hey if i had STU's attitude, why the hell should i say sorry) Good thing i dont, and I am man enough to admit a mistake if i have made one. STU STOP TRYING TO PLAY THE HAD MAN ON THE INTERNET !!!! Dont look good mate, makes you look the FOOL that you are.

Finally would like to thank 'The Return of the Judge' for his early comments and saying that those comments shudn't have been made, good on yer mate!!!!

Look i dont really want to continue any further, i want to leave this topic and post right here, as i wanted to do earlier, but this was simply not possible due to certain comments being made.

Maybe it is time to act like many on the forums and be sarcastic, aggressive and derogatory...See how the rest of ya like it eh?

Racist posts will not be tolerated and is a serious breach of the rules.

I don't for an instant think that Lee J intended for his comments to be racist and I don't for a second think that there was a racist or hurtful motive behind his comments at all.

However, some of the responses by some of the other established members disapointed me. Some people here think seem to forget that the majority of the forum members are not UK nationals and many live outside of Europe, so there is a fair chance that there was someone here that found Lee J's comments offensive.

However, Lee J is a decent guy and fair play to the guy, even though it was obvious that he was joking, he was big enough to apolgise to anyone that was caused offence.

I don't want to hear the free speech arguement as racist comments have nothing to do with free speech. Whats more, they are against the rules of this and almost every forum on the internet (except on klukluxklan.co.uk

).

Ok. Not a rumor, but I just want to go on record by saying for £6.5 million, I think we should have bought Scott Parker - a quality player if he can stay fit. Im sure he would have chosen us over Newcastle although he would have found it harder to get first team football.

Disagree. He left Chelsea in order to play first-team football and he has ambitions to play for England in the World Cup next year therefore he wants to play regularly. Here with us he wouldn't be played ahead of Hamman,Gerrard and Alonso where as at Newcastle he will always be first choice.

I rather take Hargreaves who is supposedly 4 million pounds cheaper than Parker, and Hargreaves is far more versitile and experienced.
