One player I fancy is Henri Camara from Southampton, though now he is sent back to Wolves. I think we HAVE to get this player. He is speedy, sharp, and does certainly look a player of Premiership level. He probably would not cost much, perhaps at around 3-4 million. What do you think? Another player from Southampton that looks pretty good is Nigel Quashie.

Nigel Quashie, Henri Camara, what are you on mate.

Nigel Quashie isn’t the worst player in the world, Premiership quality yes, top 5 side, not in a million years.

Henri Camara is pace and nothing else, one of the quickest in the Premiership, but he is an awful finisher, very poor and rash on the ball, and can't pass to save his life, again Premiership quality but never for a club like ours, HAVE to get this player? You HAVE to be having a laugh right?

i watched the barcelona vs villerreal game last night and reina was all over the place. flapping at crosses etc.

lets just hope it was a bad day at the office if we're seriously thinking about paying £8m for him.

It was a bad day at the office because he's kept 24[or 26] clean sheets this season.

Hargreaves is a very, very, very, very poor man's Hamann. Have never rated him. I'd keep Biscan ahead of signing him any day of the week.

This O'Shea thing would be interesting. The lads superb on the ball and quick. He's a big lad aswell. Has the potential to be a really commanding defender and i think he'd suit our style and could be a long term replacement for Sami.

He's not however the complete player. Defensively (the main part of a centre backs game lol) he has to improve. He's got potential though as i say.

If he was available i'd go for him, i'd also keep Sami on for two more years. O'Shea would learn alot from Hyypia about using his size and potential strength aswell as positioning and reading the game.

However, i doubt it will happen.

O'Shea wont leave man untied. Hes being groomed as a defensive midfielder as well so he can play in a number of positions.

Ok, ebnough talk of henry camara, peter crouch and people like this. Wea reliverpool FC people, we should be buying the best people, not relegated has beens and never weres. There ionly one id get is Andy Johnson as what we really need is a poacher who can do things for us. He plays a bit like baros but is much more of a team player.

About Hargreaves, i think that if we could get him at 2.5 million that would be steal of the season. I want to keep hamman for another season but if that does not happen then we could do a lot worse than owen who can play the role well.

For Spanish players? Joaquin would be good but way tooe xpensive. theres always baraka, aimar, ayala and even mista from valencia who could all do a job here

They play on different sides, Vicente plays left and Joaquin plays right, so I don’t think they are interchangeable as transfer targets, but going for both of them is good.

P.S. Everyone seems to be spelling it Vincente, I thought it was Vicente.

I'm well aware that they play on different wings but I don't think that we'll buy both of them as it would cost too much (not that we can't afford them) its more that Benitez doesn't like to spend too much money.

If we need the players and they can improve our team and we can afford them, why in Gods name wouldn’t we buy them?

Joaquin: 20-25 million
Vicente: 8-12 million
Total: 28-37 million

I don't think Benitez has ever spent such an amount on only two players, keeping in mind that we need more than two players.

I personally think that if those two players were available at that price and were willing to come here, Rafa would have them here in an instant, and so would I. You don't turn down quality players like that.

If it meant revising transfer plans and changing other targets then it is worth it.

he was at liverpool as a lad but we let him go. not the worst player in the league but not the best either. he looked great when he first broke into the united side at fullback and it looked like we :censored: up big time letting him go but his performances have become patchy over the last year or so.

Rafa wants a squad cos he's learnt from all the injuries this season and know he knows the league I'm sure he'll be looking for not just skillful players but physically strong players, also he likes to drum into the team to keep the ball.

I don't expect to see Joaquin or Vincete at Anfield next season, but maybe Baraja or maybe even De La Pena ???

I dont think Vicente will move from Valencia , at the beginning of the season there was some rumour about a possible interest from Real Madrid and he himself reacted on time to say in the media that he would never leave Valencia, at the same time he lengthened his contract for some more years.Anyway, anything could happen because Valencia took for sure to enter CL and  had planned the budget  in accordance to that, so maybe they urge for money.

As for Joaquin, it all depends on the president of Betis, that is a really weird character here; last December his tranfer to Chelsea was almost signed but after the match against Sevilla that was supposedly going to be his last one here, the president said in a press conference "the Russian one can sit and wait cos Joaquin is not moving from here even for all the money in the world until he can win Sevilla playing for us" . So I think it all will depend on the president´s state on euphoria when meeting to negotiate, lol. However I think its good news for u that it seems Real Madrid has opted to go straight for Cristiano Ronaldo to replace Figo on the right wing.
