He is speedy, sharp, and does certainly look a player of Premiership level. He probably would not cost much, perhaps at around 3-4 million. What do you think? Another player from Southampton that looks pretty good is Nigel Quashie.
i watched the barcelona vs villerreal game last night and reina was all over the place. flapping at crosses etc.
lets just hope it was a bad day at the office if we're seriously thinking about paying £8m for him.

They play on different sides, Vicente plays left and Joaquin plays right, so I don’t think they are interchangeable as transfer targets, but going for both of them is good.
P.S. Everyone seems to be spelling it Vincente, I thought it was Vicente.

I'm well aware that they play on different wings but I don't think that we'll buy both of them as it would cost too much (not that we can't afford them) its more that Benitez doesn't like to spend too much money.

I don't think Benitez has ever spent such an amount on only two players, keeping in mind that we need more than two players.

He's not however the complete player. Defensively (the main part of a centre backs game lol) he has to improve. He's got potential though as i say.
If he was available i'd go for him, i'd also keep Sami on for two more years. O'Shea would learn alot from Hyypia about using his size and potential strength aswell as positioning and reading the game.
However, i doubt it will happen.
up big time letting him go but his performances have become patchy over the last year or so.
