Ffs we're questioning why we bought Morientes but in January everyone wanted to buy him! Give the man time before you make your final judgement. This is comming from the same people who said that Luis Garcia was a poor signing. A poor signing with 12 goals with over five assists.

Never saw the game, waiting for Match of the day to come on the box, but heard stevie belted a beaut to equalize.

I wouldnt too much this season, albeit a stinker .

You can guarantee Smicer/ kewell and maybe igor will not be here next year.

trouble is, unless we win the champions league, we wont be in the champions league to shine. our own fault, we gifted 4th spot to the Bluenoses. they never won it, we gave it to them!

If i am correct, Everton only have to win one of their three games to get the spot? mind you, versus Newcastle,Arsenal, and the other team i cant think of! seems unlikely, but i doubt it.

They thought the race for 4th spot was all over?................... IT IS NOW!

Everton play Newcastle,Arsenal and Bolton.

Even if we win the Champions League we may not be in next year though I don't give a damn, we can sit it out next year.

i admit i was one of those ppl who wasn't impressed by gracia but after the whole season now i think hes a very tricky player, all he needs to do is not be clever in the  middle of the pitch and give the ball away as much

but morienties needs time as i mentioned up there, when u think about it, hes only had a few months at the club, he needs time to settle not just on the pitch but in his personal life, its bound to need adjusting to

and uefa cup football might not be the death knell everyone seems to think, ok champions league will always be the no 1 european trophy to win but it might be a blessing in deguise

I hope so dude.. I understand morientes need time but how much time? Are we going to repeat like a parrot next season..."give morientes time" Squak ..."give morientes time".
We need to set some deadline. Everybody should work with a dateline..

Hahaha..
So what if I give him a dateline? Will everyone be happy? No.. not unless that deadline is set by themselves will they be convinced. So set your own deadlines. I just wanted to highlight some points that we made by others. It is so easy to say give him time.. can no problem, but please tell me how much time you want to give.

Don't just say the problem, offer some constructive solution. Cheers.

Here you go genius:

Deadline for Morientes, until the end of next season. With pre-season training with his current team-mates he'll be a key player for us next season. If he does not achieve what he was brought here for by the end of season then write him off all you want.

Happy now?

Yes he was in the line up, but was he playing?
If you watch the game, you won't notice he was there.
So much for a class player that will save Liverpool... shheez
:veryangry

Morientes was playing, but I did not see him much. Always half as second late. And he had a free header from 5 yards which he miraculously missed.

We need a more complete striker with more pace and more movement. Moro is good in the air, and has a lot of experience. But so far this has not been enough.

according to you signing someone with pace is the answer to everything, beleive it or not being a fast runner does not make you a good football player.
