I think the other question should be ..was morientes playing??
Yes he was in the line up, but was he playing?
If you watch the game, you won't notice he was there.
So much for a class player that will save Liverpool... shheez

he is a class player, next season he'll be freshened up trust me

and it takes more than one class player to make us a better team m8, next season we should have added to the squad and buy better playesr than what we have, every match the same players who play poorly this season are on the tip of her tongues, we all know who they are, how many will be there next season, hopefully not many of the underperformers

Morientes was playing, but I did not see him much. Always half as second late. And he had a free header from 5 yards which he miraculously missed.

We need a more complete striker with more pace and more movement. Moro is good in the air, and has a lot of experience. But so far this has not been enough.

Moro hasnt played football for a long time, and his getting to come accostomed to the game in England with 2 defenders in his face. Wait till Cisse and Mori play up front next season, and we'll see all you ppl change your minds.

how we conceded the first goal is very questionable... a gd keeper may stop it... but the CBs .. poor defending.

Man, you think Rafa is devastated, I'm devastated. Its like watching the crystal palace game all over and what worse was when I saw the scoreboard, everton was losing 2:0. What's going on with this team... But I'll still cheer for them against Chelski....

I know banana.. Morientes was on the field but he wasn't playing... When Garcia came on, he was every where. You keep seeing Garcia, but where the hell is morientes? He should be poking at the defense making them uneasy and make mistake. But nooooo... he decides to blend with the grass. Somehow I feel (for some time) he and pelle are mistakes. Shouldn't have bought them. Not because they are no good.. just that their best are behind them.

Yeah...
Some of the fans are just critical of certain players. Maybe they just don't like his look, his attitude, his life.. nobody knows. Doesn't matter anyway.

Milan is currently having a bad patch and in need of some confidence boosting. I hope he score against Chelsea and gained some confidence. The fans need to support him, if he doesn't do well Liverpool won't do well too.

I would also like to highlight something too:
Milan baros is constantly being marshalled by at least 2 defenders most of the time, we really need someone who have similar attributesto baros to help split the defense and creating chances for each other also forces the midfield to drop deeper. Hence this allow gerald and riise to take shots at goal outside the p area more freqently.. That person should have been bought in.

Would I rather have Bolton of Chelsea win?

Chelsea no doubt about it because if they lose they will feel like they have something to prove.  Just look at how we have bounced back in the CL after losses in the Premiership !!

Thats what impresses me the most about baros...he gets stuck in. Most of the time, he is on his own againtst...2, 3 defenders and he still manages to get a shot in or a freekick...

But some fans don't seem to realise this. They choose to point out his negatives (red card against BS and his lack of awareness).

News flash..... all our players have some negatives......

Even rafa for some reason does not seem to rate baros....but then proceeds to give pelle so many chances. I am not questioning rafa...he is the boss. He has the right to pick his favoured players as he will be the one who will answer if things do not go right.

But if i was baros, i would be pi$$ed.

I guess Rafa is only human. Humans are bias creature. If you work in a big company you would know. Not everyone that get promoted are great performer.

Seriously, we need to get:
2 defenders;
2-3 wingers/midfielders
1 striker to partner Baros.

Why Baros? Because I can't see morientes making it... yet
Why not cisse.. because I also can't see him making it yet.
One thing I realise about cisse is that he can be very lazy. Most of the time you see him strolling or walking on the pitch without doing much to help out the defense. Like he is too important for this type of task. Someone should put him straight... run till you drop.

Baros will be leaving in the summer....

it is a lot like mellor's strike against arsenal but this ended up in the top corner....surely one of the contenders of goal of the season.
