We hammered Leverkusen in the last round, and after all, they finished the group stages ahead of, among others, Real Madrid (after beating them 3-0 in Germany and playing 1-1 in Madrid). I`m pretty sure that they won`t underestimate us..

If we manage to raise our game to the same level as when playing Leverkusen and Olympiakos I believe that we have more than a fair chance of knocking the old lady out of the tournament. I`m optimistic, and I hounestly believe that the italians are leaving Anfield empty handed tomorrow

Starbridge and Rusher, get a room!

Back on topic, read our team on paper:

Haman German International and World Cup Finalist.

Gerrard world beater, talk of the town etc...

Garcia spanish international and former Barca stalwart.

Pellegrino, twice CL finalist and experienced European campaigner.

Baros, golden boot, fast and great scoring record.

Riise, solid ex Monaco experienced euro campaigner and scorer of some spectacular goals.

Antonio Nunez, ex REAL Madrid player.

I know we will all have different views on these players, but Italians and Italian fans will have the views outlined above.

For some reason we are a different proposition in the CL to what we are in the league. I very much doubt they will underestimate us after the Leverkusen preformance.

It will be a tough two games but i think we are in with a shout of beating them. Why not on our day we are as good as anyone

they dont relly lay with wingers as nedved and camoranesi usually drift into the centre so we'll need at least on defensive midfielder to help the back 4

Juventus do not like playing away in England...i think we could stun them with a couple of goals....but as already mentioned....DO NOT CONCEED A GOAL!

That's true, but you'll need to keep Zambrotta busy then, cuz when he's not busy defending he's one hell of a wing.
And Zebina, even though much less than Zambrotta, could push on the right side.

they wont like playing at anfield, especially if the crowd really get up for it.
these italian clubs tend to have barriers, moats and the crowd half a mile away from the pitch, they wont be used to having the crowd in such close proximity to them.
roma were flying high at the top of serie a when we beat them so a victory is not impossible.
they are a good team with quality players like nedved and ibrahmovic but lets not build them up too much, a few years ago italian club sides where a who`s who of world football but now other league`s, especially those of spain and england have drawn a lot of players that would have went automatically to italy say ten years ago.
