I would just like to say that Steve Finnan has been excellent this season. He saved our asses twice today and has been so consistent all season. He has been one of the unsung heroes...i can't believe we were going to sell him when we bought Josemi.

P.S How long is Josemi out for?

Im not sure about Josemi, but it'd take a miracle for him to work his way back into the side

Before we bought Josemi many wanted to sell Finnan, however under Rafa alongside with Carragher he has been the most consistant defender.

Finnan was average at best, until Rafa showed up. Suddenly he, like Riise & Carra, is playing the best football of his career

Finnan is playing his best football under Rafa as well as Igor, Traore and definitely Hamann.

Eazy-E, I agree with your comments but not on Hamann. Hamann was at his very best a couple of seasons ago whicl culminated in us finishing second on the EPL and capped his fine form in the Germany team which reached the finals of the 2002 World Cup. Since then he has dipped but has improved with Rafa but this is not him at his best ever for us. He is still a good player, just seem to be having the familliar effect of age catching up which tend to show more in the hustle bustle of the EPL.
