Loyalty - A joke

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Leonmc0708 » Thu Mar 17, 2005 10:38 am

Last night was our most important game of the season, and whilst as fans we can do nothing about the performance of the players, the one thing we can do to infuence the outcome of a game is to go along to the game and to be vocal in our support.

So where exactly where the "fans" last night?

Some so called Liverpool fans make me sick. Wednesday night games are so often empty, and there is NO EXCUSE whatsoever for the so called fans who never bothered last night just cus it was on the TV.

I am sick of the idiots who pick and choose the games that they attend.

Ask yourself the following questions.

(If you live outside the UK, so you can not attend the game, then dont bother.)

1)  Are you going to the game on Sunday ?

2)  Did you go last night ?

3)  Could you not make it due to work commitments? Oh right, did you go the Leverkusen home and the Olympiakos home games ? Whats the difference ?

I think there are many kind of fans, some are more casual than others. You have to remember that you need money to buy the tickets and its expensive to go to every game. Not to mention the time. Also, some game is more attractive than others (vs the big club or derby etc.). Just like going to a movie, you choose which movie to see. You simply do not see all the movie even if you are a movie buff. I understand your frustration and I will be dying to see a LFC game live at Anfield but couldn't simply I do not live in England. Just take it easy and I really do believe we have the greatest fans in football.

Cheersmate.

How about critising the disgraceful performance by our players last night ??? , Instead of critising the fans.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

The players lacked flair against a side that came for a draw and thus had eleven behind the ball.

I also stated "whilst the fans can do nothing about the performance of some players".

Fairweather fans are as bad if not worse than players who "do not fancy it".

Once again Leon you excel yourself with your stupidity. What a barmy thing to say.

Tickets cost money, midweek games take a lot of organising (leaving work early, rush hour traffic etc) but we try our best to do what we can to support our club. Even the people that go one game a season are still good supporters, don't disrespect the supporters leon - we're all the same.
I didn't go last night, I also won't be attending this Sunday, does this mean Im a disgrace to the club and not a true supporter??

Did the same people manage to do this for the Leverkusen and Olympiakos games?

Shut the f@ck up then Lee.

Dont disrespect the supporters? That is where you are wrong, as supporters go to the match's home away and abroad, fans go to one game a season.

Supporters put their views forward, and they are valid as they do their bit to support the team.

Fans put their views forward after following the team on the TV and are generally clueless idiots (see banana).

sorry mate but you are out of line. if you could only support the team if you go to all the games then we (liverpool fc) would have to shut down as we would only have 45,362 supporters in the whole world.

marklfc/dapioneer and Leon seperated at birth  ??? Change the record its boring ffs :sleepy:  :sleepy:

The fact is we played awful, no commitment, no drive, no urgency. If our very well paid players need a full house to play to their potential, I shudder to think what the future holds when we move into our state of the art 60,000 all seater.
