What the friggin hells goin on - This performance is not aceptable

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I am so bloody angry WHY again do we fail in the premiership, WHY? Is it Benitez's tactics changing a winning side?
Cant the players be bothered?
Have a few spat there dummy out?
Is it a mixture of everything?

First we have the Gerrard leaving for nearly a year now :sleepy: , now we have spread all over the media Real want rafa, then we have Baros having a tantrum.
Watching the game I heard Hyypia was dropped cause hes been talking about him in the press to his fellow counrty men and it was leaked?

What the f@ckin hells going on  .
One minute we are suicidal getting beat by the Saint, Brum, the Toon, then we give a fanatstic performance against BL in the CL, and then all our depression melts away, brings us all back on a high, and then the fall again, only the fall is hurting more and more as the points are not going down.

And to see David Moyes sitting in the stand laughin his head off was like a f@ckin knife turnin in me heart, how can this happen? what have we done to deserve this?
We have had nothing but hurt since Hysel and Hillsborough, and it doesnt seem to be going away.

We have been plaged with the worst injury crisis since god knows when, we have a new manager, we have new players some we dont want e.g. Nunez, Josemi, Pellegrino.
houllier brought players in some we hadnt heard of, Oh yer hes the new Zidane :glare: my f@ckin @rse where is he now?

We have a player on loan we bought for 11 million pounds, whos got a worst reputation than Jody marsh, we have a player injured that cost 14 million my name sake, thats 25 mill for 2 players, how can we compete with the top 3? Ferdinand 27, Rooney 30, Drogba 24, we are way way to far behind.

Clive Tilsey gave the commentary tonight and said I bet Benitez hopes that hes on Reals short list, now this is being broadcast all over the f@ckin world  , whats this saying about our great club?

I hate Chelsea I despise Manure, but on the quality of footballers they have compared to us, I have to hold my hands up and admit we are years away from them.
This team lacks passion lacks determination, doesnt give 2 sh#ts about the fans.
And we keep saying Shankley wouldnt have put up with that behaviour put him in the reserves, well im afraid them days are gone, money is there GOD and thats all there conserned about.

Liverpool i love you but you players have got to know when enough is enough, you have basically become a joke and you persist on playing like this and having us fans being humiliated you lot want respect? well give us fans something to respect you for PLEASE.
From a very dissapionted, disalutioned Liverpool fan.

No Passion fight or Ambition shown tonight,a mediocre bunch of players who couldn't care less. The revolving door awaits they are not good enough.

It's the same reaction every time we get a bad result.

"WE'RE POOR AND NOT ARE GOING TO FINISH FOURTH, WE'LL GET OVERTAKEN BY BORO,etc...." <---------- example of comments made when we get a poor result

"WE WILL WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE,ALL HAIL RAFA THE MAN SOME FANS WANTED TO SACK A FEW WEEKS BACK" <-----------comments after good performance.

Basically it's always the same thing. [CGGY I am not directly speaking to you but in general]

A win away on the road in the Champions League can not change the damn fact that we are so inconsistant in the Premiership.

I won't predict whether we will finish fourth our not because we are unpredictable, all I can do is to hope and have a bit more faith. There's always that feeling after we play poorely that we are going to play well like we did against Leverkusen.

Clive Tyldesley is a fu**ing Manc though, did he mention that "magical night in Barcelona in 1999" by any chance?

I'm not listening to that pr!ck any more when he commentates, I'm throwing the radio on and having the telly sound down

Exactly couldn't put it better myself to the opening post. The lack of ambition and quality out there tonight has left me ****** off. While my mate who i am speaking to is watching his team the geordies win 4-0,put 8 on the trot and is talking about how well they are doing i am having to tell him we can't even beat Blackburn at home.It breaks my heart a little.I don't know what is needed.Think Rafa needs the whole summer to work on improving this time.Bring in someone like Van Der Vaart (who would come to us) and let him use his flair to break down these tough defenses.Bring in a striker who can score lots of goals.I don't know but i am dying to see an improvement.

He was yappin on and on and they where sayin about Real being interested in Rafa, and he said I bet Benitez hopes in his heart this is true, I was was f@ckin sick as a pig.

I am going to be honest now and put my own reputation on the line here ok, I am not for one minute sugesting that rafa should go dont get me wrong, but he did change the tactics tonight when he didnt need to, the players have had a week off, you never change a winning side.

Squad rotation is ok on a certain level when you are unundated with games, but we are not are we?
I think he should be critised for the line up tonight, why not play Sami and Riise, and sub them? If he wanted to give Pellegrino and Smicer a run out?

I loved the whole thing about going to the bar etc etc............ It basically made my year as a Liverpool fan but that doesnt win you games.  The mistake he made not playing Baros in Cardiff, these little things are starting to annoy me TBH, I am not doubting his ability as a manager but if we fail to make fourth this is going to be the reason why.

Its not the result that has incensed CGGY so much but the performance ! She refers to some of the reasons why LFC have found themselves performing so inconsistently all season (Injuries , new regime etc....) but you can't denyt her passion and sheer frustration when witnessing such an inept performance. As many of you know I get to most of the games at Anfield and a few Away in a season but I DIDN'T go tonight . Spoke to my mate who did and he commented it was possibly the worst game of footbal he had ever seen ! ???

Copied and Pasted from another thread .........."No shots on target and struggling to come up with a Man of the match tells it's own story I'm afraid. Teams who come to Anfield determined and prepared to work hard for their spoils have been dispatched with aplomb in the past but not tonight. Blackburn got what they desered,a  point

The weird thing is we may turn up Sunday and witness a 6 goal thriller such is the inconsistency of this Liverpool team. However should Everton come for a point (which they surely will no matter what the players, manger etc....say before the game) then I fear they may get not just the point but entry into the CL although such is the inconsistency at present don't back against bolton or even Charlton snatching it at the death !!!

Kenny's not been sleeping so his Dr prescribed the game tonight . All I can say is if that doesn't help his insomnia nothing will !  :D

My mates just rang before and he's a really balanced fan and always tries to bring something positive from the game but he was at a loss to find anything of note to encourage either himself or me !!!  ???

This is totally true and everton will come for a draw or hope to score on the break they play like that anyway they are not an attacking team, they will be so full of anger and hatred and i am afraid our stevie has his mind else where and he will fail to show up again.
The liverpool sang there hearts out the second half and really got behind the team, but you can take a horse to water hey you cant make it drink it.
I am going to be honest now I relaxed after that game and basically said to myself well if we cant beat Blackburn at home maybe we dont deserve nothing.

CGGY I argued with Ian here because I defended Baros after he was benched at Cardiff however Rafa has every right to bench any player.

We don't know what goes behind closed doors, Baros has taken playing in every game for granted and when he doesn't play he complains. If he could find the back of the net a bit more often I wouldn't be saying this but 13 goals in how many games we've played this year is not good enough for a striker.

I no longer going to be symphatical with any of our players. You either perform or you don't, no need to run your mouth in the press.
