****** thats attacking, 3 strikers and players who like to get forward in Becks, Lamps and Gerrard.

I think that team would get beaten comfortably by a well-organized Italy or Brazil side. Sven's tactics in Euro 2004 wer far from attacking, so if he is still there in 2006 I can't see him going with a formation anything like that.

It doesn't matter what lineup England have they will choke i would love it if Senegal got England in their group for the World cup if England qualify that is :D :)

Why would he spit at Sven thats a lame joke ???  it would be great if diou scored the goal to send England home if they make it that is :D

Butt ? I see where your going here where you want to play 1 defensive centre midfielder and 1 attacking centre midfielder so England can get the best of Gerrard when attacking becuase right now, Gerrard has to pull back because Lampard does most of the attacking as we know if both Lampard and Gerrard go foward, there will be no one protecting the back 4 but clearly there are better options like Scott Parker say if you want to play 1 that moves foward up the pitch and 1 that protects the defenders?

saturday's team on saturday will be:

                          Robinson

           G.Neville Ferdinand Terry A.Cole

          Beckham  Gerrard  Lampard J.Cole

                        Rooney Owen

when you look at the likes of Downing, Defoe, Dyer on the bench it shows how strong a squad we really have. I expect nothing less than a 3 goal win against Northern Ireland.

No offence but thats pretty arrognant thinking your gonna just walk all over N.I especially after that last game i expect N.I to come for a draw.If they can last till halftime without conceding they will win :)

very good point tgo, I think England will win but Northern Irleand will come to play and will naturally be well up for the game as it is a pretty big rivalry.

I just hope no LFC players get tw@tted.
