Cech breaks schmeichel's record - 781 minutes without conceding a goal

The Premiership - General Discussion

Much as I loathe the way Chelsea have pretty much bought themselves the Premiership title, I can't help but have respect for their keeper. I raised my eyebrows at the £7m they paid for him, but for me he's looking more and more like an absolute bargain.

To see a 22 year old keeper playing as consistently well as he has, it really puts into perspective how far Kirkland has to go before he can be seen as top class. He's miles behind, to be honest. Nobody's scored past him in the Prem since Henry on the 12th December. That's f*cking incredible.

Can't Baros have a word, and try and convince him that we're where his future lies?  :D

Cech is indeed a fantastic keeper but you can't underestimate the effect that a fantastic defence sitting in front of him has on his clean sheet record
