I heard that Diouf and Stan Collymore have brought out a new flavour of crisp: Spit Roast.  :D

My first impression of him in the world cup was that he was a tricky forward, predominatly attacking from the left side and capable of dribbling past two or three players at ease

For us he was a right-sided midfieder... hmmmm

But no matter how well he is playing he is a bad apple simple as that, don't want players with his attitude anywhere near the club and don't want a player who's hated in this country playing in a Liverpool shirt

Lets forget about diouf coming back here....he did not make a lot of friends here when he commented that players were not united as a unit when he went to bolton.

the best we can hope for is to get a decent transfer fee for him.

Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

It's such a pain in the ****** that he can't swallow his greenies, as he's in really good form at the moment in a position that we're a little short on quality. He was absolutely stunning at the weekend - I've not seen anybody decimate Sol Campbell like that for a good long time.

Part of me wonders if it's worth bringing him back and saying "you get one chance - one indiscretion and your contract's in bits". He's got no friends here, but I can't see Bolton finding even £2m for him, and writing off £10m on a player that is playing so well just does not sit right with me, irrespective of the disciplinary record. Also, when you look at incidents like Nunez's elbow and a couple of Hamann's horror challenges this season, you have to admit that we've hardly got a team of angels anyhow.

I know most of you have already said your goodbyes, but it is a serious wodge of money that we're talking about binning here. To a large extent he'd have brought it upon himself, but I'd feel cheated if we didn't get at least some value out of him before moving him on.

How about bringing him back until summer so he can do a job for us (we're paying most of his wages after all), and giving him a chance of attracting a decent sized club on the continent for a reasonable fee? He's another non-CL cup tied attacking player, let's not forget.

My thought is that he should indeed be given one more shot. A young African player, coming to England with a brand new weekly cr@pload of cash and a bad attitude, is bound to have a rough time. But his talent is obviously salvageable, and I think he's at least matured to the point at which Rafa might be able to whip him into shape, get him under control in a way that Houllier couldn't. He was one of my favorite players in the World Cup, and I hated to see him turn out to be such a ******...but anyone can be set straight with the right motivation. We bring him back, state publicly that if he ****** up again he's gone, and see how it goes. If he does indeed ****** up again, we haven't lost anything that's not already basically gone. Then again, maybe everyone hates him a lot more than I think they do. I've never really been able to tell how bad it is from over here. If that's the case, ****** 'im.

Diouf has, without doubt, got talent. But when he played for Liverpool, he would only produce 5 minutes of brilliance, either 4-5 matches.  The rest of the time he was midiocre.  I think that's what infuriated us so much - he saw how good he could be.  Can you imagine the praise and worship he would have gotten if he produced displays using 100% of his ability, week in week out?
