Liverpool are ready to listen to offers in the region of £4 million for Chris Kirkland according to the Sunday papers.

With Jerzy Dudek back in the first team and a bid pending for Leeds United's Scott Carson, Liverpool are prepared to offload the former Coventry keeper.

Carroll has done a good job for Man Utd, so why  would they want Kirkland? Arsenal are a possibility

4 million is good price for him. we dont really need a young keeper. a experience one like canizares is as good.

Selling one of the keepers and buying a younger, cheaper understudy makes sense to me. We haven't got many saleable assets that we don't need and if we can raise 2 or 3 million (I think 4 for either of our keepers is unrealistic) then it makes sense to me. Doesn't seem like a lot of point in having two top-drawer, top-money keepers if we haven't got a fit striker.

it would be a big mistake to get rid of kirkland.everyone knows he will be the england keeper for many years to come.good keepers are hard to find.man u and arsenal have been trying to find a quality keeper for years.he may be injury prone at the moment, and all goal keepers make mistakes.but i still don't think we should off load him.we should hold on to him he will come good and be a great keeper. i'd sooner have him in goal than dudek!!! :p
