Champions league?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

:( Typical, we beat Chelsea then lose to Tottenham. If we get in the Champions League we don't deserve it - we are not champions and we don't play like a championship winning team. Instead of rowing with Martin O'Neill, Houllier should concentrate on getting some of our overpaid and overrated palying staff to show some pride and try and turn what has been a pretty dismal season into something where we might win a cup. I'll back Liverpool all the way, but it's disappointing watching our players letting down such a great club - only Gerrard has played his guts out this season and he must be looking at the others and wondering what is going on.

your right about Gerrard, watching the effort and desire in his game every week makes you see how much the club means to him - If the other players had the same effection for the badge they wear we wouldn't be talking about maybe scraping fourth spot.

Champions League !
Even if we do manage to qualify under this clown there is no way we will be a major force in the competition. Indeed it could be embarassing to watch us getting outplayed and outclassed by the so called big teams.

2 points to address :

1. gerrard is lazy.  Yes LAZY (on occasions).  Look back at each goal we have conceded this season and on at least 3 u will see him jogging back behind the ball only to watch the opposition score!!! Desire? Drive? !!!  Watch the replays

2.  Champions league:   newcastle v liverpool for the final (play off) place  Its that simple boys, and we r in the driving seat

nice  :;):

We should be well clear of the pack chasing fourth with Newcastle not doing any better than us and in spite of the injuries. Let's face it, our squad should be better than all the teams outside the top three. The players we have used in the absence of our key players cost more than the first choice players in teams like Charlton and yet we still can't beat them!
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

i dont agree with the structure of the champions league but so be it. If u mean driving seat by position then charlton are in it. Not us
