Champions league - Will we actually do anything?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Take a look at the quaterfinalists from this years Champions League.....

Porto                    Lyon
Milan                    Deportivo
Madrid                  Monaco
Chelsea                Arsenal

Are there not four teams, possibly five, there which we could beat, even with our limited resources. With the exception of Milan, Madrid and Arsenal, no one stands out in this years Quater Final list.

Its not quite doom and gloom boys.

its always the same latley with us, we could and should beat teams, coz like stu said in another post. on paper we look good and on our day we can beat anyone. Only problem is, only to often we dont perform, dont compete and lose.
It's not a good basis for the champions league.

you may not agree with me on this one but I would gladly sacrifice finishing 4th if it meant gh would not be in charge next season?..and a new manager appointed, and we start afresh.. to the alternative of having finished 4th, gh still in charge to be given more money to waste on average unproven (and probably french!) players, and most of the same squad we have now!!.   :(  ???
