In Greece everybody says that Agelos Basinas is going to be a new Liverpool player.
He is the capten of Panathinaikos Athens and starter in the national team of Greece!!!!
He is Defensive meedfielder with a killing right foot!!!!
He can also passes very good and he is a free kick specialist!!!!
He is something like Alonso but for me he is a far better player(no ofense).
He is also more experiensed!!!!!!

I dont see him being better than Alonso, he is a skinny Jan Molby.

A bit of local bias there me thinks...

My friend i respect your opinion but he is far better than Alonso!!!!
He is faster, stronger, and more detrmined!!!!
But ok i dont think he can take Alonso's place!!!!
But he can take hamman's place

And a good team needs many good players!!!!
Against Arsenal Basinas was the best player !!!!!

I have seen him a few times, and I think he looks good, but better than Alonso ?

They are similar players but i think he is stronger and faster.
And for me plays a great role that the last 6 years he palys at top level(champios league).And he comes from a team used to play for the championship.
he is also European Champion with Greece!!!!
Against Spain he was our best player!!!!!

You teach us football
And every greek player dreams to play in england
But i speak specificly for Basinas

I think that he is a good option for liverpool!!!!
And he is cheap!!!!
And he is a Liverpool fan since his childhood!!!!

Even though he would be "cheap", he would still cost a couple of millions and we are not in dire need of a central midfielder.

he costs 3 milions Euro!!!!
but together with Alonso and Gerrard we will have the best centre midfielders in europe.
We can give Hamman and Diao!!!!!
