Having aimar in the team does not mean we are gonna sell gerrard. It just means we are on the way to having a world class 1st 16.....

having more then one guy at one position doesnt mean we sell one person, it just means we have more depth and the ability to change our rotation from game to game. If one person gets injured, a better suited player can be slotted in his place.
how versitile is this guy? can he play more than one position?

but what i said has the same affect, just not as precise. Depth is a squad, having good players on the bench is not a downfall. It is a gift to have such quality players on your bench, would you rather have rafa playing diao or this guy. All the top teams have a supporting cast that would rivial the bottom of the premiership and divison 1. Just to repeat myself buying a player of this caliber (hopefully ive never seen him play though) wouldnt be a step back it would be a step in the right direction to becoming #1.

LIVERPOOL HAVE MADE A FORMAL OFFER FOR AIMAR
By European Football - December 28 2004

On Valencia’s official supporters MB this news has appeared: Late on Monday evening, a formal offer for Pablo Aimar from Liverpool F.C. has arrived at Valencia’s office in order to sign the player this December. The offer is thought to be around 12M Euros.

This has been confirmed by Valencia official, Agustin Morera. "The offer made by the team coached by Rafa Benitez is formal and firm, and is very much near the 12M Euro mark"

Ranieri Decides:

In the next hours, there will be an urgent meeting of the Valencia C.F board to speak about this matter, the continuity of Aimar depends exclusively to Ranieri who if guaranteed a similar substitute, Aimar could be leaving Valencia in a matter of hours.

hi new user here, liverpool fan back here in peru. saw the match earlier today in fox sports LA and the narator said aimar was planning a visit to anfield tomorrow. I dont know how how reliable this is be but he is argentine and works for a rather large sports channel so he may have good sources

I think that Aimar is a great player and would give us a lot of creativity but I don't think he is the right option at the moment with us having already having Garcia, plus we need to concerntrate on getting a world class striker and a centre back.
