Strikers nowadays reach their prime between 28-32. I would say he would give us (especially the attackers) experience and wisdom and he is at his peak. If we can get him, it is a "No brainer".

not true they are also being linked to other strikers, which is wierd. Also I think the other 3 may aslso be trying to make a move for James Beattie as he's coming on the market, wich wouldbe more sensible purchase for a club with a tighter budget, also Everton is getting a investment so they WILL be able to compete in the transfer market. Though if it ends up between Everton and us for Morientes I would shell out 10mill to stop them from getting him. Can you imagine that !! For like the first time in decades they could finish above us, and then take our prospects. We better get Morientes.
