General Discussion . Topics = 4079. Replies = 65494
General Chat . Topics = 1011. Replies = 39400

Both areas look pretty healthy although Gen Chat does get more response per topic (yeah I know a lot of them are just smileys) .
Maybe the quality not the quantity is the problem in the General Discussion area .

taff summs it up perfectly with his coach/bus analogy.
id personally be in the middle, sometimes at the back having a toke and abeer, but then chatting to the guys at the front about football.
I admit with the whole politics of liverpool im very naive sometimes but i just like the game and the banter like taff says. Apart from the occasional see you next tuesday i love it ehre and the rest of my work mates always wonder why im typing away like a nutter

I think it is sad that this thread started by the mod to highliht the problems with personal chat that should be done vis PM has descended into exactly that.

The "Real Worlonians" as you refer to yourselves have started the Genaral Chit chat and silly smilie posting here.

I didn't even look in General chat for about a month
I always posted in the main boards but i got tired of slanging matches .
As far as debate goes thats a bit tired sometimes with similar topics coz there no really juicy toics to get your teeth into
Bland baseless transfer talk n theMellor debate can't keep he main boards goin for long. There's only so many times you can say be paitent or still early days about our situation.

Maybe this sounds elitist but personally I cannot stand these "Lets sign Ronaldo" (eg) threads or stuff thats just ripped from tabloids, like "Liverpool eyeing Barry Ferguson", the ones you just know are patently made up.

People hear a silly rumour and just post it like its gospel.
