LFC, never did I say that JBG and supersub don't do a good job, what I said is that we need one or two moderators to help the ones we already have. With more moderators things will get done quicker and more effecient.

Do that and believe me, and about 30% of this forum's problems will be sorted out.

I just think that everyone has lost sight of what this place is all about. I was a member on this board for 4 or 5 months before I ever even read a post in General Chat, now that place seems to be the default forum.

Very few put the effort into posting in LFC: General Discussion and most of the posts there these days aren't worth reading, like some kid has sent his post by text message. Only a couple of months ago people were writing huge essay like posts in there, sadly, many people now seem more concerned in getting their total post number up to ridiculous levels through spam.

The fighting and egos here sometimes is just soul destroying. I went through the archives in LFC: General Discussion and the amount of potentially good threads ruined by a couple of jackbooted, goose stepping loud mouths is obscene.

Excellent post  JBG   this forum was indeed unique and the sole reason I joined was to enter into serious debate  with like minded adults,  but over the last 9 months  that has sadly deteriorated and has been in slow decline culminating in the absence   of many former members .I started posting  when Big Al wrote about times that personified what being a true Red was all about and this forum made me feel better for logging on sadly  that is no longer the case .I still log on in the vain hope of finding an inspiring thread and I will respond to some but they are becoming more and more scarce .

So once again JBG great post  its nice to see the forums old guard are genuinely aware of whats going on .

I am well aware 505 posts is not  a colossal  amount to put forward in 14 months  as a poster , but the creativity that was spawned  in response to genuinely thought provoking threads  has been lost in the swell of such threads as The Real World and such others  .

On first joining this forum I was justifiably impressed with the input from members and the number of posts  they had made only served to remind people how influential their opinions and view points  were .
Now sadly that is no longer the case  .

I hasten to add I also indulged in arguments ( I can rip with the best ) but discussing the team  always came first and foremost and always will

The reason I came here is to discuss anything LFC related, I don't know any Liverpool fans here so I can't really discuss LFC with a Manc now can I? And most of my posts have been about the club but this week I've been caught up in General Chit Chat and I'm starting to pull myself out.
