Dom causes no trouble, neither does that Hammers fan who posts on here. But that f***wit Cheese boy used to irritate me, with his blatant double meaning posts. He was a Manc, who did little to endear himself to me when I was a newbie on here by taking me on when he should have minded his own business.

Big Ben, a Red fair enough, just an absolute fruitcake though. Fan of Diouf's as well.

Then the Leeds fans episode. Indefensible.

Okay, I'm a Manc and Toffee baiter. But they always started it. I just gave it back. If they come on here wanting to talk and mind their own business fair enough to them. But I'm just defending a site that I spend a fair amount of time on. Nothing wrong with that.

AA: you used to be one of the very best posters around here, then you got involved with Shanti and Enrique and I haven't seen you start a thread on Liverpool in a long time.

Stu by the way I regard as proper, Ive had debates with him where we have different views but he has never verbally assaulted me so I respect the guy but you can see his point as people either say daft things or wind him up

I see it as this: If we were on a bus to an away game, Stu and Dalglish and SS etc would be at the front discussing the game in their replica shirts whereas the Real World lot would be at the back toking doing lines and drinking and thinking if a half arsed attempt at chatting up Cisses Gonna get you is on the cards for the way back.
On this bus however there would be a lot of toing and froing with people going to the front/back for the odd chat and mixing with each other because at the end of the day we are all united by one thing and thats our love and supoport for LFC.
There is a lot of banter in silly topics and I for one enjoy that but I still well respect the views of most people on the site even if they never visit the real world and its nice now and again to have a debate or ask a question of them.

For me football is about more than the game its about the banter with other fans and fashion, music etc. Ive had some great tips for Books CD's etc from General chat and heard some great stories from other parts of the site but without the overall bind of LFC I wouldnt bother if it was just a general chat site as theres no common bond.

I see your point of view but nobody would like to be told their view isnt valid and who is right at the end of the day

Why dont you do a topic of the week and delete all copy threads etc like you did with the Stevie G threads or try something new to shake it up again

I think its gone better on here lately, the trouble is there are too many petty arguments....oh wait no thats the good thing

Mind due we all did a great job in getting one over on the blue ****** the other night on BlueKipper and that showed the solidarity of the members on this forum

Again, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with General Chat (its inevitable it gets popular as people get to know each other well) but I think that maybe we have all lost sight of why we are here: to talk seriously about Liverpool FC.

General Chat is great for a bit of banter, but lately the banter has taken over from the hardcore football stuff.
