Pongo for dyer? - Insider claims newcastle bid!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Koptalks "insider" claims Newcastle have offered Kieron Dyer in a exchange deal for Sinima Pongolle! Apparently Souness wants the pacey striker to replace Craig Bellamy who will be offloaded in January after several bust ups with the welsh tos**r. Liverpool are reported by the insider to be "very interested" in the possible deal!

For me that would be a good swap. Dyer is a good utility player, and if we could get him fit and his attitude right he could start to fulfil his massive potential.

He is not ******. Look at him a few seasons ago when he was breaking into the England side under Keegan, he was on fire. I am not saying he is a world beater but he is still young and able to do it at the highest level when his head is right.

kieron dyer is 26 for god's sake. that's not young. and as for him being picked by keegan, that's the same manager who also picked phil neville, dennis wise and andy cole.

The rumour is bullsh1t. Souness main priority come January will be to strengthen his shitty back four.

Yesterday when I was watching the game the commentators where saying Souness had cancelled there new years trip to Edinburgh for a party, as they player had there christmas night out in London and trashed the hotel rooms, and where behaving really bad, the club has been ordered to pay damages to the top hotel.
Newcastle players have a bad reputation off the pitch and we got rid of the spice boys, we do not want players with a life style of night clubbing and bringing the club a bad name.
Bramble an Dyer where arrested in that roasting case with that girl we want respectable players at our club.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

gonna chip in with my agreement there. the last thing we need is a sulky, inconsistent spice-boy back in the club.

Dyer is bad news and nothing special as a player. We dont need nor want his kind at Anfield. He has hit headlines for all the wrong reasons without any good football to back up his fading reputation. No thank you.
