Luis Garcia Return
Rafael Benitez believes Luis Garcia should return from injury in two weeks and the Spanish star could well come into contention for Liverpool's Boxing Day match at West Bromwich Albion.
The Liverpool manager said Luis Garcia is progressing well after his hamstring injury and says his return will be another boost to his squad.
Benitez said: "I think in two weeks Luis Garcia will be back to play again. I hope so and he is important for us as we have a lot of games coming up in a short period."
LFC Charged
Liverpool today admitted to being disappointed by the FA's decision to charge them following incidents in the Carling Cup tie at Millwall on October 26.
Both Millwall and Liverpool have been charged for the behaviour of their supporters during the match at the New Den.
Liverpool's charge relates to their alleged failure to prevent their fans from conducting themselves in a threatening, violent or provocative manner.
Millwall have been charged on two fronts: alleged failure to prevent their supporters from making racist chants and alleged failure to prevent fans from throwing missiles onto the pitch.
Liverpool spokesman Ian Cotton said: "We are disappointed to have been charged by the FA and will consider our response in due course."
The Reds have until December 23 to respond.
