Morientes wants to go to Monaco, Defoe is goin to chelsea for 15 mil, Beattie luvs himself 2 much dont want him plus he aint that good either.
Whom ever comes will probably be from spain, on the cheap.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Spot on Malbranque is a class act he could really prosper at Anfield. He would give us an intection of Flair and creativity that we lack at mo. I'd like to have Morientes  at anfield but i cant see it really. :(

Malbranque would be quality signing, he can play either left or right and is bound to create goals. I'm surprised he is still at Fulham, but they can't keep hold of him for much longer.

I like Morienties just as everyone else does, but he going to be 29 soon, so I don't think we should pay more than 6-7 Mil for. I doubt we will get him in January, maybe in the summer.

I've heard he was a left winger.

He is definitely a right-sided midfielder, he has played there his entire career.

In all honesty I don’t think Warnock is good enough to play for us. Yes he puts in a lot of effort but he has no pace, average technique, average delivery. I suspect he will leave when his 2-year contract is up.

I know you think me as just some Canadian smuck, but I think if we each have a player like a Gerrard on midfield and a Carrager(i know ive spelt it wrong) on defence and A Person Who Playes With Heart On Striker, that we will be alot better off. I also think this guy will flourish under RB the man has style and pace, but the main weapon he has is heart, without heart a player is just another Kewell. Hey i might be wrong about the guy but hell atleast i have an opinion on him.

Yakubu is a very good player, the guy is strong, quick and can score plenty of goals. I don’t know about the part about “heart” though.

He has said he wants to play at big club and I’m sure if we came knocking we would get him eventually. But we would have to pay a fee close to £10Mil.

He has done well for Portsmouth he can finish well and won't be bundled off the ball easily. With Harry Redknapp leaving Pompey maybe a bid in January would land him ???

Nunez does play on the right but he said he likes to play upfront.

He looked really good in the reserves game  :)

Yakubu would cost too much for me. Around 10 million and TBH, I don't think he's much better if at all than Heskey. I know a lot like him but not for me. Still, what do I know.
While being harmless fun, all this speculation is almost certain to be way off beam. Rafa will definately sign at least one striker in the window and my money is on the major one never previously being mentioned on these boards. Ever. There'll be a collective WHO? when he comes, I've just got that feeling. This fella knows his onions though, I really trust him.

i think u guys should calm down and wait and c, speculation about who he might buy is pointless, im confident no matter who he buys will be good for us, he hasn't bought a bad player yet, ok josemi's performances lately have been erratic but overall hes done well
