no one wants to sell gerrard tho, and so far its all just terrace talk, which is always fun but hardly ever gospel.
personally tho we should get gallas, morientez and shaun wright phillips... perfect world scenario eh?

and leon, each of your posts do seem take up a page, which im not saying is bad... but its bad

Right, now thats out of the way, Stu mentioned on an earlier post the consequences and potential benefits of selling Stevie. I thought I'd have a go at his scenario. WHAT DO YO DO WITH IT ?

You put forward some interesting ideas regarding potential signings, if we had the money , however I am beginning to feel that even if the money was available many TOP players no longer see LFC as their best option when considering a move to a new club.

Under Houllier we signed many players with "World Class Potential " none of them lived up to their billing not suprisingly as they were never "world class potential" and no other top prem team was after them . In recent seasons the only player who has come near our expectations has been Alonso .
We look around and see the talent signed by the likes of Arsenal,Chelsea and Man U. The bottom line is that even if we had the money the best players regard LFC as a team with a fantastic history but an uncertain future .

Sorry if thats all negative but thats the way it is .
