Phew !!

Not great but il take it. Not sure what the logic is with Isak out wide. He did well though and put in a shift defensively but cant help feel hes wasted out there.

I'm not convinced by Isak at all tbh. I don't know how or where he fits in.

Watching this game I thought that the Italian league is ideal for Slot and his slow playing style. Not exactly for the Prem though.

It ain't on the right wing anyway. I dont think we utilise him correctly as we are far to slow moving the ball and hes not getting it in the right positions. Until we see him getting proper service its hard to judge. He did put in a shift tonight tracking and defending but thats not what we need him for.

Good result for UCL top 8 aspirations, we worked hard and in the end sboz sealed it.
Slow paced game suited Slot.

Credit where it's due that was a really good win against a side that hadn't been beaten at home in 3 years in the CL and have appeared in 2 of the last 3 CL finals. We were never going to go there and wipe the floor with them, thought we were the better side though.
That would have been a notable win in Jurgen's or Rafa's era when we were the team in Europe no one wanted to face. Not saying we haven't got problems but that was a good win.

Hopefully we turned a corner and we go back to being where we should be. They looked like they were fighting for each other and the intensity was high.

Unbeaten in 4 so with any luck we can kick on with some wins.

I thought that game the other night was us being the better of 2 slow teams. It was a lucky pen late in the game as well. Delighted with the clean sheet though.
