Liverpool v Crystal Palace, League Cup, 19:45, Anfield

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Don't know what kind of team Slot intends to field for this one. Either way, I wouldn't be optimistic at the moment.
Read somewhere that the 3rd choice keeper Woodman will start - interesting one, that.
8 players on the treatment table, though that includes Danns and Bajcetic (remember him?)
Any kind of victory would be nice, Arne

So VVD's sitting in the changing room before the game wondering how the heck the 10 players around him have collapsed into spineless wrecks.

Can't wait for us to play the same way and get battered again.

 My fear is that we change and win only to reverse it for the next league game.

He could be doing with retiring from international games.

This is like the days of good ol Woy, when you don't feel confident at all.

I’m not fussed if we lose, I just to see a change of tactics and approach.

Thought I read somewhere that Ramsey might get a game tonight?
Hard to know what to do for this game. Lose again and the knives are out. Win with a stronger team, risk an injury or two, and the knives are still out.

I just want to see a decent controlled performance where we keep a clean sheet and look like we have a clue what we are doing. Anyone's guess really on what team we will put out but would be expecting Gomez, Chiesa and Endo to start.

Cmon the pool :buttrock

That line up is scaring the hell out of me. Apparently Palace have gone strong aswell. Was hoping we'd play a strong team and try and get some momentum back.

Think its gonna be a tough night

Guess we've decided to throw the game with that line-up. Palace has a few changes as well but not as drastic as ours.

Well surprisingly thats been a very good 30 mins. Defending deep, we look organised, and we are moving the ball quicker. The only player not releasing the ball quick enough has been Mac allister.. he's had a chance of getting Rio and Morrison in a few times but he gets gun shy for some reason.

Nice to see Robbo picking the ball up and being quick and positive, instead of Virg strolling around posing taking too many touches.

I think we’ve done ok, given it’s the reserves against most of Palace’s regular 11.

There's the easy goal for them. Why cant we defend easy balls like that? Its basics
