The Premiership - General Discussion

Great result for a totally normal club. Well done Palace. To bring a 19 year old debutant on as sub when you have £100 million Grealish on the bench was a master stroke...

It would be great if tottenham could stuff united but spurs really are the masters when it comes to letting everyone down.

HT 1-0 Spurs

I have to say these two are poor teams to say the least, can't believe one will be given a UCL spot.

Well done Spurs, first title for them in a long time. All things considered they've had a better season than Arsenal :D . United remain a laughing stock.

First trophy for Spurs in 17 years, as for united you can just imagine the faces on Radcliffe, Brailsford and the rest of United's top brass watching that last night, bet they were fuming.
It will be interesting to see how the fallout from this result plays out over the summer.

Great result, well done Spurs, another nail in the Manc coffin.

Ratcliffe could never have imagined his white knight investment would turn out so bad. Income will be 100 million lower next season, sponsorship bonus payment will be zero plus a reduction in general expenditure due to declining attraction. Meanwhile they want to rebuild the training facility and have a deluded vision of a new OT. Why should the owners throw yet more money at the team when every penny spent since Ferguson has been wasted, including the 11 clowns on the pitch last night? Onana anyone!! United really are buggered, on the field, off it and revenue projections. The 3 clubs being relegated this season are in better shape than United.

Marvellous.

Certainly is  :grinning:

I read Casimero was in line to get an extra 150k per week taking his earnings to 500k per week had they made the CL, you can see he was really trying. I feel sorry for Amorim as he stepped into a total clusterfuck. The amount of money they wasted over the last 10 years is shocking. They stole a number of titles they didn’t earn be it PL corruption or simply ref intimidation by Fergie and now karma is paying them back.

It must be a tough time for those front running ManUre fans

I don't think any top manager should join them, you'll ruin your reputation. They are rotten to the core. Great times, we get no.20 back in our perch and United are struggling close to relegation.

No decent player would come and play for Amorim now so they have to be realistic. It's a poisoned chalice but they have 4 problems: bad owners, bad manager, bad squad and a stadium falling down. A financial nightmare.

Delighted that Spurs managed to put one over on a thoroughly awful entitled club. Totally agree that it is a poisoned chalice however with regards to them building a new stadium didn’t I hear that a very big chunk of the money will be coming via both central and local government or have I got that wrong?
