Haaland looks solid for City, was expected anyway so nothing new.

United still struggling which is lovely to watch.

Arsenal and Spurs off to a good start with comfortable victories.

I missed half of the City match but Haaland scored a penalty and while WH were pushing forward, and after a sublime pass from KDB ( that I would have scored from) he put away a one on one with the keeper, not sure I agree with the “unplayable” cumfest in the papers. He’s good, but not unplayable. Anyway, we will see how many matches he plays this season.

We need to remember that last season City won the title only because of bad referee decisions going their way. Without them they wouldn't have been champions. Now there's no question that they're a great team, among the best for sure, but they get an extra edge with this help.

They're also ridiculously lucky. Against W.Ham for example, Fabianski gets injured and gets substituted. A few minutes later his replacement makes a very amateurish challenge in the box and concedes a penalty. Before that City didn't have a single shot on goal (it was almost the end of the first half).

Getting worried about ManUre’s form. If they become too awful then the fans will revolt and someone else will come and buy them put them where “they belong”. I’d like them to have ten years of nothing, so they need to be average but they seem a lot worse than average. Glazers need to remain owners but I’m worried that that will change the way they are going. Thank god the Saudi PIF did not buy them because they fit the profile.

I cannot believe they would be this bad when they play us next week.

Even with bad owners they still have spent a lot of money. I don't understand how they just keep getting it wrong. Long may they stay deep in the ditches, but like kazza said last thing we want is some mega rich corporation taking over.

United fans and the club as a whole are hoping that a sugar daddy billionaire comes in and fixes the club. The fans are desperate and shameless with the way they've gone on during this bad patch and putting 100% blame on the owners.

They spent over a billionare since fergie left.. flexing on the league buying superstar after superstar for ridiculous amounts of money to please the fans. I have zero sympathy for that club.. they bullied everyone in the 90s being the richest club, stealing all the best players by offering more money.

The pulling power has now gone, no one wants to join, the club has become toxic.

Let's just keep watching the sh1tstorm.

City losing 2-1 to Newcastle..  and they're struggling to get a hold of the game.

City should have lost, more help from the referees. Have they ever been hard done by VAR, I don’t think they have.

Arsenal dropped points, to be fair have looked quite average last few games so I expect City to gradually overtake them and extend a lead.

Newcastle with a great result against Spurs, they'll definitely be knocking the door for a UCL spot and once they get it I reckon they'll stay there and just strengthen each season. As many said expect future title races between City and Newcastle.

Arsenal will be feeling what we have when you challenge with City. Their 1-0 wins and when you draw a game how dire it feels.

Welcome to the title race Arsenal, now you'll know how difficult it is to challenge with a steroid pumped side. It takes a special side to beat these lot to the title.

Imo City will win it now.

ManUre knocked Barcelona out, just to show how weak we have become. What a sh1t sandwich we need to eat, we are in decline and they are in the ascendancy.
