definetely Ian. The idea they were putting forward was having an optional standing area with seats, i.e. a "stand up sit down" area where the fans wold have the option to buy a ticket to the area and stand all game if they wished or stand some of the time and have the option to be seated also.

I'm fairly convinced in my own mind that Standing only areas would work particularly at Anfield but its a sensitive subject and not one I would like to dictate to families of victims lost at Hillsborough ....... To that end I believe the HJC (Hilsborough Justice campiagn) have no objections in principle but would like to be consulted at every stage.....

I really believe if managed properly there is a place for terraces in todays games. Greanted the re-introduction needs to be handled with care but technology these days would mean there shouldn't be a single area of a ground un-supervised. The reason that the atmosphere is down is because all the fans who will create a noise are spread all over the place and can't get a decent atmosphere going. Also I only believe the home end with season ticket holders should be terraced and with the away supporters the opposite end of the ground.

It wont happen clubs will never put terracing back in

What did impress me when I went to the San Siro last year to watch Wales was the bench style seating they had but with no specific seat numbers so we had x amount thousand tickets for the same number of seats but you could mill about go and see your mates in different parts of the end, sit down if you wanted or stand up.

Still seating but less regulated so if you do have a loon in front or if your away from your mates you can move about

Im quiet worried. Every LFC game I go to I always sit in the main stand. I have a chance of getting tickets for the KOP for the Olympiacus game in December but I don't know any of the songs. Would I be out of my depth or would me and my pal be ok in there?

Erm, I don't know.

I suppose I can just join in with the others. As long as you don't hang me from the scoreboard if I get the words wrong!!!
