Typo error on my part. I press Ctrl V twice.
OK...let's verbally attack the players

Hey Santa I may call the players names out of frustration but I never go to the extent of writing comments saying they should be shipped off etc etc.
Everytime he has raisen his arm for an offside he was outrunned, he needs to stop doing that.

Very good point A.B, I forgotten about that. Even the commentator says Josemi raised his arm half-heartedly hoping for a lucky call from the linesman.

The modern fullbacks need to be able to overlap. This is the year 2004. The game has evolved. Arsenal's 4-4-2 formation can go to 2-4-4 in a matter of seconds as Ashely Cole and Lauren joins in the attacks. The amount of pressure Arsenal exerts on opponents' defense is tremendous. Same with Brazil, when Roberto Carlos and Cafu make hell for the opposition with their runs deep into opponents' half (Of course they must have the athleticism to run back to cover the defence when needed)

This forum seems to have more mature posters though. The one at Liverpool's official website has a new topic every minute (yep that's right, every min) and it's usually full of teenagers yapping their heads off.

well if nearly everyone can see positives in our defence then what the hell is going wrong
Traore- a year ago, i would of had the guy shot-humble pie though, the guy has improved 10000 fold
carragher-plays anywhere and always does a sound job
Hyypia-well he has kept our defence together for years, and still does a solid job when not trying to cover other area of the defence where others r suppose to be
Josemi- well, dont know why we bort him (nothing against the guy). Don't think he is anything special, and the old phrase comes in again. GIVE HIM TIME TO SETTLE. Well fact is. We don't have time. Arsenal and Chelsea r gone, out of sight. Then theirs another 7 or 8 teams all fighting for the european places.
Unless our defence improves, who knows where we will finish up.
And please know one say. "trust me the manager knows what he's doing and it will all turn out ok"
I have no problem with the manager, and i already see improvement from the Foulier era.
I'm sure we will be up their given time
"I SEEM TO BE ABLE TO SORT OUR DEFENCE OUT ON CHAMPIONSHIP MANAGER"
maybe ill send our manager my team sheet

Welcome to the forum polygemus. As you can see most of us are diehard supporters of LFC. However there are a few troll lurking around waiting to pounce on players who had a bad day or two.
Everyone is entitled to have a different view. However, blind criticism of players is frown upon and you will get strong verbal reply. Nothing personal  :D
Watch our games carefully and you might have a different view on Troare. Josemi is not a bad player himself, probably need to have sometime to adapt to Premiership's pace. His baptism of fire since his arrival have raised many of our expectation. I trust Rafa's decision so stand behind them...and don't call any players wearing a red shirt and representing us an idiot (well...maybe with the exception of Diao and Diouf, but then again, they are not really footballer are they?  :D )

Lot of 'hot air' in this topic.
Traore, probably has the cleanest tackle in the entire back line, Remenber that goal saving tackle in the box two weeks ago !!
Josemi, just needs coaching about his man marking, he has all the skills except spatial awareness.
Risse and Finnan are both in no-mans land, not up to it as full backs and not really skillful enough as mid-fielders.

Imo Josemi proved during his first matches in the Liverpool-shirt, both will and skill when it comes to taking part in the offencive game. But if he is linked up with a winger who doesn`t take part in the defencive game it doesn`t sound like a masterplan attacking too much when not covered for, now does it ???

josemi worries me - he doesnt get tight enough - 2 goals against palace came from his side - and also the blackburn game he was slack. Traore has done quite well and i have been his biggest critic but he deserves more of a run. His distribution was poor on saturday though.

Wait and see what Josemi is like with Nunez taking position in front of him - we still need right cover in the midfield, linking with the full back.
Similar story for Jimmy T who I didn't rate till Raffa got to him.

Sorry this is my first veture into the medium of you message board. Please excuse My english language. If I am permitted I may to return to the poster of before Mister redrider, when you say that Traore has "the cleanest tackle" what is this? I know traore when he play in France and how clean was his tackle was never spoken of. Is this normal on your medium?

Apparently the French speaking El Hadji kept Jimmy T's tackle very clean - gives a good mouth wash I believe.
