How did City managed to nail £60M per year kit deal?

How did City managed to nail £60M per year kit deal with Nike and we are happy with our £25M from New Balance? That is a massive gulf in revenue per year alone. If we managed to get into CL tonight, I wondered if we could start asking upwards of £50M judging by our worldwide fan base and commercial potential?

City can pretty much guarantee success by just continually throwing money at their team, Nike are paying over the odds because no doubt during the negotiations City's money men reminded Nike's executives that there's a very good chance their kits will be worn by the premier league champions at some point in the near future.

On that alone we have to say thanks but goodbye to NB asap, we can't afford to miss out of the revenue.
