I also believed that had issues been dealt with such as the midfieId, defene and goalkeeper. We have again been near enough at the top again, I do believe certain things have against but can't handle the money that was wasted. There was talk of Kehdeira going for similar money than can went for… the lack of the Remy deal grated as well.
If we unconvincingly scrape fourth due to direct competition failing I would be more than inclined to wave goodbye, if we address an issue or two in January, the signings improve massively and we convincingly get fourth for me it could buy Rodgers one more season with a limited budget…
Curious as to what everyone's expectations and hopes are for the season ahead and what they would they would find a failure? Would seventh to fourth in three seasons after spending the biggest budget we ever had as well as another hundred million on top? Especially the kind of players we have brought in and missed out on acceptable? Must admit I am not so sure

As dreadful as we've been so far we've still got a good chance of getting 4th. City and Chelsea are nailed on and Arsenal always finish top 4. Of the rest, can Southampton sustain it if they get inuries? United have firepower but are worse than us at the back. Spurs are average. So are Everton. 4th is literally anybody's this season.
