Multiple sources on Twatter saying Southampton have accepted our 25m offer....

I think they would be foolish to turn it down.

I don't think Lallana's stock will get any higher in terms of transfer value to them and it's clear he wants the move.  Nobody else is bidding for him at the moment.

It's their call though, we can't criticise them for wanting to keep their best player and captain.

If they accept it then we're getting a good player, although slightly overpaying imo.  If they reject it we move on.

Fabregas for 30 mill, I'm sure all the top sides (City, Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and even Tottenham will go for him. Not to mention other sides from the continent PSG, Monaco, Bayern, Dortmund, even Juve) would be in for him. I really hope he doesnt end up at any of our rivals. He's the type of player who could convert the likes of Arsenal, Utd, and Chelsea to major contenders next season.

News has broken today that Barca are willing to sell Fabregas for £30 million, would anyone have him here?

Fabregas would be perfect for us. Been playing the kind of football we aspire to at Barca for years and before that at Arsenal. He is a legend there, and they have a bit back clause if Fabregas states he wants to go there.

However. If Barca are willing to deal at 30 million we should go for him. It's a no brainer. He is more than a classy midfielder, he has a great engine, can put his foot in and has a few goals in him.

If we are serious about maintaining our position and improving this is the calibre of player we should be going after.

Wouldn't pay £30m for Fabregas who has failed at Barcelona for the second time and I think
they where almost duped into taking him back because of the hype around Arsenal.

If last season has taught us anything its not to pay over the odds for players, but it will be
tougher to judge this summer with agents putting temptation in our way, but we must stay
on track.

Fabregas flopped at Barcelona? My God, I thought I've heard it all.

25m + Aspas is quite a steep price to pay...

Whilst I wouldn't exactly say he flopped I do think that he never developed into the player I originally thought he was going to become when he was at Arsenal.
The fact that Xavi is getting on but Barcelona are still willing to sell Fabregas says it all to me, they obviously don't think he's the answer.
If United want to spend £30m on him thinking that he alone will solve all their midfield problems I think they'll be in for a bit of a shock myself.

£25m + any player is a steep price to pay, even the likes of Assaidi and Aspas are worth more than £5m so essentially we'd be paying over £30m for Lallana (and that's assuming the player isn't someone like Suso or Wisdom who'd be potentially worth a lot more than that)
Lallana's good but is he worth £30m+?

Fabregas would be a great signing. He's one who would replace Henderson and be a massive improvement on him.

However, I cant see it happening. The lad is pure class though.

I heard the total value was £20m + assaidi... Which wouldn't be bad for us or assaidi
