Unless you are City or Chelsea, signing players from that part of the world always end up being a drawn out saga. I know people who worked on the Arshavin to Arsenal deal, and they say that's the way it is over there. Goal posts being moved by both clubs and agents, person A claiming to represent the player, then someone else coming in and saying no they represent the player, trying to start an auction etc. It is not easy and I think we will pull this deal off and will have done well and Ayre and Co should be applauded if as I expect they pull it off

Konoplyanka was our second choice but we messed about so much over our first pick Salah (reportedly over 2 months of negotiation) that
it left us with hardly any time when Chelsea gazumped us at the last minute.

We may or may not seal this Konoplyanka before the deadline, but whatever happens we must take a serious look at our recruitment
strategy as there is clearly plenty of room for improvement.

I have no doubt Dnipro are hellish to deal with, but a club like Liverpool should know that and be professional enough to forward plan and
understand what they will be dealing with. Get ahead of the game and know their opponent in negotiation, but I really don't see Ayre as
being smart enough to do that.

Fans nerves are absolutely shredded every window.

The clubs first signing ,its official ,and we said this transfer committee wasn't working .

SSN are saying the deal is off. Saying player wants to stay. Please god, no.

I can't imagine the reason it falls through is the player wants to stay… I would believe he said he wants to stay after the deal was officially over, but if it were up to him he'd already have a house picked out in Liverpool.
