There was a suggestion he was on £80k a week net.  So we'd need to pay £150kish to match that.

How do you know his wages at Shakhtar 

It was on a CL weekly when he was transferred because people were questioning why he would move from Shakter mid season with them mentioning him on 2.5mil a year after a tax and getting half a million a year raise after tax

he may not want to move for the money, he may well accept being on £80,000-£100,000 a week in order to play for one of the worlds great clubs in a high profile league.
look at suarez, yes he was known at ajax but he`s turned into one of the most famous sportsmen on the face of the planet since he`s been here,and it`s not just down to the evra/biting incidents either because torres was the same, when he was at liverpool his number 9 shirt was the biggest selling sports top (not just football) in the world.

that is not hypocritical of me, I prefer to look at the bright side of life and I really think we have turned the corner.

Lots of reports on twitter saying the signing of the left back Guilherme Siqueira is imminent

Been looking at some videos of the guy and looks more like a flying winger than a left back tbh

that is not hypocritical of me, I prefer to look at the bright side of life and I really think we have turned the corner.

That doesn't change the fact that we will still have to pay a big fee and big wages to get quality players like Willian

Well he is better than Cissohko ( well played better in recent seasons ) . He is decent enough

Exactly mate and hopefully now suarez is staying it will be easier for us to bring a top player in as I think that might well of been hindering our efforts up to now.

If Suarez does stay and our interest in Willian is real then we would an unbelievable front 4

Not only would that challenge for top 4 but close to the league. For what less than 50 million. Considering we have now sold Downing and we have spent nothing bar player sales.

If they owners would put some cash into this they would get money back very quickly
