On that subject Red, is there anything to stop us signing girls, are they legally allowed to play in the EPL?

Honest question, I've never thought about it before. 

I can't see why they couldn't play - legally.

Nothing in the FA rules and regulations but FIFA tend to block any transfer or registration that tries this. They wish to maintain division of sexes in football.

but seriously ,nothing stipulated in the laws of the game that restricts their involvement.

actually there is. FIFA

Legally if pushed FIFA wouldn't be able to stop her - a good lawyer would ensure it would be allowed.

Wrong, many of FIFA's regulations are legally binding and gender differentiation is one that ensures the two professional codes are separated, and for very good reasons.

Simply put, a "good" lawyer wouldn't even bother contesting the rules.
