Yes, take what Madrid say with a pinch of salt.
Is there a re-election this year? They do like to hype up the big names for the fans.

Anyone fancy a bid for James McCarthy from Wigan as a back up for Lucas.
Or Diame from West Ham?

i think we need to sign players that will strengthen the starting xi not the squad mate.
i`d have diame here, he`s more dynamic than any center mid we have at the club, i think he`d make himself a fixture in the team

It's not fact you hold negative views, it's the fact you predominantly ONLY hold negative views. Virtually every thread you post on is negative by nature.

The stock of our club is currently I believe the lowest I have witnessed in the 30 plus years I have been a fan - and it's heartbreaking to see how low our standards have dropped.

lucas as back up to diame would be a start.

Krkic sucks man, he never made it big time. He was a promising youngster back at Barcelona and he stayed at that level only he's 22 years old now instead of 17. I can't see him turning the corner, but I said similar things when we were after Countinho so I'm not very reliable obviously

I like the way the reds have acted quickly to snap this Aspos lad up ,as in the past our hesitancy has resulted in us losing out on the
likes of David Villa/ Sergio Aquero,and more recently Michu, all three where at the time seen as a risk ,and thus brought a reluctance
from the board to splash out on an unknown quantity, yet we seen their value more than triple in a few years.

The only time we could afford Aguero he couldn't get a work permit.

there`s a link over on rawk where this christian atsu fella tells journalists at a ghana international team training camp that he`s off to england. the journo`s seem to think he`s signing for us. he`s expected to travel to anfield after ghana`s upcoming world cup qualifiers for a medical.
the echo mentioned this fella as one of our targets. at £3m its not the end of the world if he flops but again it`s not the type of signing thats exactly inspiring.
