His record is alongside someone like David Nugent who is a 1 in 3 striker in the lower divisions

Would we be claiming him as a good signing ?

60 goals in 130 appearances.

Yes. More of a goal threat than Downing.

Where did you get those stats from ?

It appears on other sites he has played 227 games ( 35 in top flight ) and scored 57 goals ( 12 in top flight )

Yes, I'll second that and also use it as a reply to Benny

I actually think the Alberto signing is a good one

That pisses on your bonfire a little doesn't it

Do you know what grips me - the fact it appears posters are unable to have negative views about the current situation at the club

If any other previous manager had signed this player the knives would have been well and truly out

Why are we looking at a striker? a midfielder, a winger and a CB is the priority...

Strong rumours that Suarez deal is agreed to RM.  £40m fee, 4 year deal.  Reported by Marca.  Could be twitter $*i*e.

Seems odd after his agent only denied a move earlier today.

The article says "Real agrees four years with him, but has yet to speak with Liverpool"?

What kind of non-sense is that? That's tantamount to poaching... I think it's bull...

you guys are right though they are reporting it - http://www.marca.com/en/
i think luis will leave eventually but i dont think it would happen this fast, apparently tonights echo is saying aspas has been bought to play alongside suarez not replace him, cant see them saying that the very day he is sold.

It's not fact you hold negative views, it's the fact you predominantly ONLY hold negative views. Virtually every thread you post on is negative by nature.

if madrid keep ronaldo (apparently zidane is trying to convince him to stay) and sign both suarez and bale they`d have some side next season.

if they go down the fee basically halves to 4.5m.
4.5 is more like it but knowing our luck they`ll stay up.

It's going to be a tricky finish in La Liga mate. There are 4 candidates for relegation: La Coruna(35pts), Celta Vigo(34pts), Zaragoza(34pts) and Mallorca(33pts). Unfortunately, I can't see La Coruna wining their final game because they play against Real Sociedad who need the points, while Celta is playing at home against Espanyol, who have nothing to play for and are in a terrible form. So, yes, out of the 4, Celta are prime candidates for staying up.

But I think we might pull out if Aspas isn't available for 4.5.

Because that's what I see within the club.

Not much positive to grasp hold off
