Mirror saying that Coates is set to leave for Gremio for £7million (the same fee we payed to get him here). Sounds like a reasonable offer to be honest, but I don't really want him to leave, at least not permanently. And I definitely don't want him to leave if his replacement is Ashley Williams.

Can't see us replacing one of Suarez's best mates with a guy that said he wanted to "knock him out".

Cant see us signing Ashley Williams. He is Captain and automatic starter for Swansea and Captain for Wales. He wont Break up the Partnership of Agger and Skrtel so will spend alot of the time on the bench.

Can see us more targetting Alex Pearce of Reading

Ashley Williams is the captain of both Wales and Swansea, a club for whom he is a vital player and a club that play excellent football. They have a cup final next month, are as likely to play in Europe next season as we are, and are managed by a modern day footballing legend. He isn’t going to move to us to sit on the bench.

Haha is it too late to take that back

Yes he was rubbish against Oldham, shouldn't be any where near our starting XI

I'm still not convinced on Ashley Williams though.

Reading join Liverpool in chase for Blackpool's £8m-rated Tom Ince

Brian McDermott is considering an £8 million bid for Blackpool’s Tom Ince after failing to agree terms with Arsenal’s Andrei Arshavin as Reading seek to strengthen for survival.

27 Jan 2013

Ince, 20, is still keen on a return to Liverpool, who bid for the winger this month but have not been able to agree a deal with Blackpool who are seeking a sell-on clause.

McDermott said: “We have a couple of things we are still trying to do. We might be the ones to do something at the last minute – it would be exciting to do that.”

Really need to try and get Diame from West ham. With him in the side yesterday Oldham would have crumbled.

Rodgers will play 4-3-3. This season we have lacked Strength been accused of playing Gerrard too far back. We have two hard games coming up and I know if a deal for Diame was going to be done theres no chance of it by Wednesday but he would make a diffrence to our side instantly

                                      Reina
Johnson             Skrtel                Agger         Enrique

                               Lucas       Diame

                                     Gerrard
Suarez                                                 Coutinho
                                     Sturridge

The right balance of strong and physical players along with the skillful and trickery type of players finished by a fox in the box in Daniel Sturridge

What happened to the Ince "done deal" you reported over 2 weeks ago?
