Emile Heskey
After years of confounding fans and pundits alike with his continued role in the Premier League and national side, Emile Heskey finds himself without a club. Released by Aston Villa in the summer, the former Leicester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Wigan striker turned down a number of offers in the summer – including a cheeky bid from Ian Holloway to bring him to Blackpool for £90 a week – and is confident of a return to football soon.
"I feel as fit and hungry as I have done in a long time and have been training everyday throughout the summer," said the 34-year-old, who has been linked with Norwich, Stoke and Liverpool. "As has been reported I did receive a number of offers during the transfer window but didn't feel like any of them were the right opportunity for me at that time.
“I'm now looking forward to hopefully securing a new club over the coming days."

Because 45 is never enough.
He fits in the the style
Money ball
Ayre wants him
The owners want him behind the bosses back.
We need to get him before spurs do.
Now take your pick of the above. Its a useful tool that works with most liverpool transfers.
